Licensed Professional Counselor

Paul is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and practical support. He provides a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Drawing from evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Paul tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and life experiences. He also runs in-person men’s emotional health skill-building groups upon request.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the transition into adulthood or wondering where you truly fit in? Young adulthood is filled with exciting opportunities, but it can also bring uncertainty, pressure, and self-doubt. Paul helps young adults navigate the transition from high school to college, identity development, dating and relationships, social intelligence, career exploration, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, pornography addiction, family conflict, and the many questions that accompany becoming an independent adult. His goal is to help clients develop confidence, emotional resilience, and a strong sense of direction.
Do you find yourself repeating the same unhealthy relationship patterns or wondering why the same struggles like anger or withdrawal keep showing up? Many adults carry unresolved attachment wounds that affect their marriages, families, careers, and overall well-being. Paul works with adults experiencing relationship distress, parenting challenges, divorce and separation, affair recovery, job stress, military transition, burnout, pornography addiction, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and the demands of caring for aging parents. Clients gain insight into long-standing patterns, heal emotional wounds, improve communication, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
As you reflect on this later season of life, are you asking yourself, “What’s next?” Post-retirement life often brings significant transitions that invite both reflection and growth. Whether you are adjusting to no longer working, experiencing increasing loneliness or apathy as you age, parenting adult children, grieving the loss of a spouse, or seeking greater meaning and purpose, Paul provides a thoughtful and compassionate space to process these experiences and start living in alignment with your values. Learn to navigate change with resilience, strengthen important relationships, and embrace this chapter with clarity, peace, and hope.

Paul 's Strengths

Nonjudgmental

I want to meet you with compassion and acceptance, right where you are, not where you think you should be.

Adaptable

I strive to be open to the healing process looking differently for each client, and therefore will use the therapeutic intervention I believe will be most helpful to you.

Inquiring

Through questions and observations, I want to help you peel back the layers of your internal self, what’s most meaningful to you, and how you want your life to look in the future.

Emotionally self-aware

I want to help you recognize, understand, label, express and regulate your emotions in order to enhance your self and other-awareness.
