Allyson creates a compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Her approach to therapy emphasizes each person’s unique story and potential. Allyson uses creative and playful methods—including art, games, music, and engaging activities—to make it easier to explore tough topics and build self-awareness in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Allyson believes that seeking help is a brave act of self-compassion. She’s deeply committed to walking alongside people of all ages as they learn to thrive and build confidence, even in the face of hardship. Her sessions are rooted in empathy, creativity, and a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience.
With a background as a mentor for kids and teens at a local church, Allyson brings both experience and heartfelt care to her work. She finds joy in supporting others as they grow, overcome challenges, and discover their strengths. Outside of the therapy room, Allyson enjoys spending time with family and playing the guitar—a reflection of her love for connection and creativity.
Allyson is completing her final year in the Master of Education in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health program at George Mason University. She is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is currently under the supervision of Marianne G. Shirilla, MAMFC, LPC-S, LMFT.
