Rebekah H. Hsieh

Rebekah Hsieh is a trauma-informed, dual-licensed professional clinical counselor and offers sessions for individuals and couples residing in California and Virginia. Rebekah is not currently taking new clients and supports Synergy Counseling in a supervisor role.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Webster University.
With over 20 years of combined experience (15 years as a clinician), she has worked with individuals, families or couples in outpatient hospital clinics, faith-based, not-for-profit, military and private practice settings. Her early clinical experience comes from being a specialist and point of contact for the United States Marine Corps’ Wounded Warrior Regiment. This opportunity paved the road for her to concentrate on trauma-focused therapy.
As a counselor, Rebekah is committed to furthering her experience through application and study. She gravitates towards a holistic approach, and integrates evidence-based modalities with a strengths-based focus when working with her clients. She is passionate about helping individuals perceive their greatest selves while identifying avenues to which they can achieve their goals to ultimately live life authentically. Rebekah considers it a profound privilege to be entrusted with the care of her clients.
As a clinical supervisor, she is dedicated to helping supervisees further their self awareness and personal development. Additionally, she is committed to helping supervisees strengthen their skills in: case conception, treatment planning, clinical documentation, ethics and risk management. Lastly, she is dedicated to supporting supervisees in cultivating their own therapeutic style while learning to provide quality care to their clients.
