Reduced Self Pay Rate

At Synergy Counseling, we believe that access to quality mental health care should not be limited by financial circumstances. Our Access Care Program is designed to support individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford counseling at our standard self-pay rate.

What is the Access Care Program?

The Access Care Program is a reduced self-pay option that provides counseling services at a reduced rate for clients who are experiencing financial strain.

Participation in the program is based on ability to pay, not insurance status. Clients who enroll in the Access Care Program choose to receive services on a self-pay basis, and sessions provided under this program are not billed to insurance.

Who May Be a Good Fit

You may be a good fit for the Access Care Program if you:

Are experiencing financial hardship
Have limited or fixed income
Are facing high out-of-pocket costs for healthcare
Are going through a temporary financial transition (such as job loss or major life changes)

Eligibility is determined through a brief conversation and client self-attestation. Financial documentation is not typically required.

Important Information About Insurance

Because the Access Care Program offers a reduced rate, services provided under this program:

Are not billed to insurance
Do not apply toward deductibles or out-of-pocket maximums
Do not include superbills or reimbursement submissions

Clients with insurance coverage may still choose to participate, as long as they elect to self-pay for services received through the program.

Program Availability

The Access Care Program offers a reduced self-pay rate. We have limited spaces available for clients to utilize up to 24 sessions in this program.

Synergy Counseling administers the Access Care Program in alignment with professional ethical standards and insurance contract requirements. Our goal is to increase access to care while maintaining clarity, fairness, and informed choice.

Clients enrolled in the program receive the same quality of care and clinical attention as all clients at Synergy Counseling.
